Top 5 tips to stay productive during quarantine

I know there are a lot of quarantine things people are putting up. But there are many people who are still in quarantine. These are just some tips on how you can still stay productive and even if you are out of quarantine and the restrictions are lifted this will still be helpful for you because it can apply for your whole life or even during summer breaks and vacations.

For some of you, quarantine can be looked as a huge opportunity to do things you normally haven’t gotten to do, basically it’s grind time!

During these hard times, make sure you’re still giving yourself a break and it’s okay to be unproductive at times because everybody cannot be constantly going all the time, so that’s just a reminder that if you guys are crazy and overwhelming yourselves, just slow down take a breath and try some of these tips!

1.Make a list

The night before the day you decide to be productive, get in bed, calm down and write a list of things you want to get done the next day. This helps because the next day you wake up knowing what already have to do. We think more and remember more things at night, so this will help with coming up with your to-do list effectively.

2. Wake up early

I know it’s the only thing you don’t do, just because it’s quarantine and you don’t have anywhere else to go, but it helps to give yourself “more of a day” to get done what you need to get done. Make the most of your day! If you don’t normally wake up early it’s okay, try challenging yourself and wake up 30 or an hour earlier than you normally wake up.

3.Make your bed

If you don’t already make your bed every day, you really should. When you are trying to be productive it can be just one thing you can cross off your list, get you becoming productive at the start of your day right away. It can make you want to jump into all your tasks for the day. Also, it helps you from wanting to climb back into bed, for those of you watching Netflix in bed all day…

4.Dress nice

Normally at home you would wear your sweatpants, no makeup and your hair looking messy. But it way more beneficial for you to dress nicer and get ready, look good feel good. It will set the mood of your productive days. Getting out of lazy clothes and just look fresh is a great way to start your day. You get up and dress nice to go to work, so just think of it like that but at home. A little bit goes a long way!

5.Do what makes you happy!

Try to do something that makes you happy throughout the day. For example, I drink coffee, because I just love it! Th whole process of making it just gives me joy. Do something that you enjoy once a day or multiple times a day, just so it can be a break from everything you are doing. Some people like to make a cute breakfast or small dance parties.
